 Votchi were founded in 1999. The line-up has changed over the years, a few other musicians joined and left the band, but the band's core members stayed constant. The current line-up is as follows: Petr Kutheil – vocals; Mirek Muzik – keyboards, vocals; Michal Hladuvka/Marty Smejkal – guitars; Pavel Bartos – bassguitar; Tomas Stloukal – drums; Libor Barto – flute. Our style reflects individual musical influences of our band members; we can describe our style as progressive hard rock.

In September we are celebrating our 10th anniversary... and it will be a very special night as we are going to do a show extraordinaire in Lucerna Music Bar! You can expect various guests including our former members and you will hear lots of old hits. Plus we prepared a few surprises! We will gradually add more information about the event. We can already tell you that we are going to record the whole show and release a live CD! Do not hesitate and come to Lucerna Music Bar to celebrate with us! There are also other opportunities to see us, we would like to invite you for example to the "Rocková Bílina" and the "Rockování" festivals. Details in the "concerts" section. And... have a great holiday everyone!

Our tour with Uriah Heep was successful, the reviews have been very positive. Photos by Jiri Rogl from the Pilsen show are in our gallery. More photos at www.newreligion.cz. We would like to say thank you to "Seven", another support act for Uriah Heep - it was great to play with you guys. We are going to do quite a few more shows this year to promote our new cd. It would be nice to see you there! The video to our song "Money" is doing pretty well in the chart on Alternativa TV and Musicbox.

Our new album has just been released! You can order it at Popron. The autumn and winter tour has been booked and we look forward to seeing you all! Beside that, we are going to support the legendary Uriah Heep on the 26th, 27th and 28th of October. Please look into the "concerts" section for details. This week we are going to finish a video to our song "Money" and you will find a part of it in our blog soon. We will be happy to see you at our release party in Lucerna Music Bar on the 23rd of September - entrance is FREE. For the bonus program members we have prepared a special event, information via email. And the latest news is that we have been nominated in the prestigious US contest "Hollywood Music Awards" in the "rock music" category.
